CMTi was incorporated in 2000 for the express purpose of providing technology support to municipal agencies; primarily to workforce investment boards. CMTi’s corporate headquarters. are located in Los Angeles County, and have been located at this address since incorporation. In addition CMTi has branch offices in Fresno, Burbank, and San Jose California. CMTi currently employs over 15 FTE staff, all of which have in-depth experience with WIA and have dealt with all of its complexities and all are involved in daily either application design, support, maintenance of CMTi created programs and desktop/web support.. CMTi has the knowledge, experience, and expertise necessary to provide quality web-based services. In addition, CMTi is the only firm that can provide the Board with a web solution which not only addresses the issues of this procurement but also can integrate these work products with the other necessary subsystems to support the overall mission of the Board such as case management, course management and Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).
Previously the principals at CMTi designed, developed, implemented and managed the vendor training directories (the 1st instance of an ETPL in the Country and possibly the prototype for the ETPL in the current WIA legislation) and vendor management processes for the Private Aerospace Network (PAN).
PAN, a consortium of California counties, cities, and collaborative workforce boards, was the largest training/re-training grant ever issued by the DOL. Initially it was funded for $20,000,000 with three subsequent refunding of nearly equal amount. The PAN included nearly ½ of the State’s population and ranged from Santa Barbara to the North, San Diego to the South and from Nevada to the Pacific Ocean. All of the participating agencies we provided with online, real-time communications and system services. The System uptime exceeded 98% during the prime period of 7am to 6pm. The CMTi principals managed all aspects of the technical support and service delivery demonstrating that they clearly have the knowledge, experience, and ability to manage a large network-based project implemented over an extremely large geographic area.
